Brunswick Day of Action

  • The Commons 7 Florence St Brunswick, VIC, 3056 Australia

Join our movement to turn Brunswick Green this November!

Over the past few months our volunteers have knocked on over 2000 doors around Brunswick to hear about what issues matter most to people. We have seen how powerful these kind of one-to-one discussions can be in shifting votes with the spectacular wins of Adam Bandt at the 2013 Federal election, and Scott Ludlum earlier this year.

While we don’t have lots of money like the old parties, we have been empowering people to connect with their community and have the conversations that we know will get our candidate Tim Read elected.

On Saturday the 30th of August, we are holding our first Brunswick Day of Action.  We are meeting at The Commons – the new award winning apartments in the centre of Brunswick that stand as an example of the kind of beautiful, sustainable development we can hope to see more of we get Tim into Parliament.

The day will be spent engaging in some basic conversations training and then listening to voters in the community, with both morning and afternoon sessions that you can come along to (or all day if you are super keen!).

Morning session - meeting at 10:00am

Afternoon session - meeting at 2:00pm

The team will get together for a lunch at the Commons at 1pm. We'll finish up at Tim’s house in Brunswick at 6pm for a party to celebrate our achievements for the day.

Please RSVP here.
